National Press Awards Ceremony for Youth Union and Youth Movement 2025

BHG - On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), on the afternoon of June 19, in Hanoi , the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union held the National Press Awards Ceremony for Youth Union work and youth movements in 2025.

The Organizing Committee awarded Encouragement prizes to authors and groups of authors.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Bui Quang Huy, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union; leaders of a number of departments, ministries, branches, and representatives of central and local news agencies and press.

Author group Nguyen Dieu - Vien Su won the Encouragement Prize.

The National Press Award on Youth Union work and youth movements was launched by the Central Youth Union in 2017, to commend and honor outstanding press works on Youth Union work, youth movements, youth models, projects, and typical examples.

BTC awarded A prize to the winning authors.

In 2025, the Organizing Committee received 406 entries from 63 central and local press agencies, along with 12 provincial, municipal and affiliated youth unions. The entries were highly appreciated for their elaborate investment, diversity in topics and forms of expression; comprehensively and deeply reflecting the activities of the Youth Union and youth movements across the country.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes for print, electronic, radio and television categories including: 1 A prize, 1 B prize, 2 C prizes, 3 Encouragement prizes; along with 1 Excellent Press Photo award, 2 Excellent Multimedia Press awards. In addition, there was 1 A prize, 1 B prize, 1 C prize for works about children, the work of the Young Pioneers and the children's movement; 2 collective prizes for the unit with the largest number of entries.

In particular, Ha Giang Newspaper won the Encouragement Prize with the work "The imprint of green volunteer shirts at the gateway to the Stone Plateau" by the group of authors Nguyen Dieu - Vien Su.
