Foreign tourists let children drive motorbikes on the road

According to the clip shared at around 10am the same day, the foreign man appeared happy and excited while traveling on Tran Hung Dao Street (Duong To Commune, Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Province). Notably, at this time, the road was quite crowded but the man still ignored the danger and violated traffic safety regulations.

Immediately after the clip was posted, many locals and the online community expressed outrage at the above behavior and said that it should be strictly handled to avoid similar situations from happening again, especially in the context of Phu Quoc welcoming a large number of international visitors.

The leader of Duong To Commune People's Committee said that he is coordinating with relevant agencies to verify and clarify the incident.

Previously, on May 7, the Traffic Police Department, Kien Giang Provincial Police also sanctioned a similar case. Mr. Aleksandr (born in 1980, Russian nationality) was discovered driving a motorbike without a helmet and letting go of the handlebars while traveling on Highway 973, through Xom Moi Hamlet, Bai Thom Commune (Phu Quoc City).
