On the afternoon of April 12, speaking with reporters, representatives of 4-5 star hotels in the center of Ho Chi Minh City said that most of the rooms for the peak days of the April 30 holiday were fully booked, even the "presidential suite" had no more space.

Ms. Vu Thi Thanh Hien, Director of Kim Do Hotel - Royal Hotel Saigon (District 1), said that all rooms in the hotel have been fully booked since April 29.

According to Ms. Hien, in recent days, many guests have asked to book rooms but the hotel cannot accept more because there are no more vacancies. "The demand of guests booking rooms in the city center to join in the atmosphere of the country's big holiday is increasing. The hotel is preparing many types of food and drinks for April 30 to meet the needs of guests. The highest room rate at Kim Do Hotel is about 7 million VND/night during this holiday" - Ms. Hien said.
