The farming experience activity attracted dozens of foreign tourists to participate. Among the groups of tourists participating in the farming experience, a tourist named James (from New Zealand) was the "pioneer" wearing a raincoat to wade into the fields to experience plowing, "transforming" into a real farmer.

“This is my first time traveling to Hoi An and I feel very happy to participate in this activity. It is a very interesting experience, this is an unforgettable trip for me and my friends," James shared.

Held for the first time in December 2024, the Cam Chau - Hoi An rice field festival attracted a large number of tourists to participate and enjoy the unique cultural festival of Vietnam, which originated from the wet rice agricultural civilization and is still preserved and maintained in many localities, including Hoi An.

Although the main economic sector in Hoi An is tourism and services, agriculture still plays an important role in the lives of local people. The Going to the Field Festival is one of the traditional festivals, contributing to the preservation and conservation of traditional culture in Hoi An today.
