Opening of the 2023 Binh Thuan Province Youth Taekwondo Championship

BTO-On the afternoon of August 4, at the multi-purpose gymnasium of Tanh Linh district, the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism of the province, Tanh Linh district, and the Provincial Taekwondo Federation held the opening ceremony of the 2023 Binh Thuan Provincial Taekwondo Championship for youth groups.

The tournament has 210 athletes from 13 units including districts, towns, cities in the province and enterprises located in the province and Nghi Duc Secondary School. The athletes compete in the content of power and combat, divided by age groups: 11-14 years old and 15-17 years old. The tournament takes place from August 3-5, 2023.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 16 sets of gold, silver and bronze medals out of a total of 38 sets of medals of all kinds to athletes who achieved achievements on today's competition day.

The Binh Thuan Province Taekwondo Championship for Youth is an annual competition and is always one of the most attractive and professional tournaments, gathering talented athletes throughout the province. Therefore, for many years, Binh Thuan Province has had many athletes achieve high results in national and international competitions.
