In a vibrant and exciting atmosphere, representatives of more than 50 teams and more than 700 athletes from secondary schools, high schools, universities and basketballtraining centers in Hanoi gathered at Hanoi Children's Palace (campus 2) to attend the opening ceremony of the first season of GMB League.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Journalist Nguyen Tien Binh - Vice President of the Association of Vietnamese Universities and Colleges, Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Education Electronic Magazine, Head of the Tournament Organizing Committee affirmed: This is not simply a sports tournament but also the first milestone, the beginning of a promising journey - where the spirit of school sports is aroused, nurtured and widely spread in the educational community.
This year's tournament is the first season to be held, but it is a matter of pride to have attracted the participation of more than 50 basketball teams from junior high schools, high schools, universities, and basketball training centers in Hanoi. This shows that the desire to practice, compete and contribute of the young generation is increasingly strong, and also reflects the serious attention and investment of schools, families and society in physical activities and school sports.
"Through this tournament, we hope to create a useful, healthy and in-depth playground, where students not only compete to win but also learn to accept challenges, respect opponents, overcome their own limits, and more importantly, understand the value of teamwork, discipline and perseverance.
This is not just a sports tournament, but also the first milestone, the starting step for the GMB League Organizing Committee on the journey to create a new playground for basketball lovers," Journalist Nguyen Tien Binh emphasized.

Expressing her belief in the success of the tournament, Ms. Nguyen Mai Tam - Director of MVP Basketball Academy, under MTV M4V Limited Liability Company, emphasized: The tournament wishes to create a playground for physical training, improve spiritual life and effective learning for students across the country, contributing to building a common home - a place where students can freely pursue their passion, cultivate and spread love widely in the community.
GMB League is also an opportunity for young people to enhance their exchange and learning, promote solidarity, and promote the movement of physical exercise and sports in depth and substance. is a tournament jointly organized by Vietnam Education Electronic Magazine and MVP Basketball Academy, under MTV M4V Limited Liability Company.
This is also the first inter-level basketball tournament for all three levels of education, including middle school, high school and university. Participating in the tournament, teams can gather, compete and spread their passion for the orange ball on a professional playing field, strongly connecting the community.
Not only stopping at the scale of the organization expansion, GMB League also pioneered in applying policies to support and provide systematic health care for athletes, when the health care and security and safety of athletes are always of interest and focus to the Organizing Committee.

Immediately following the opening ceremony were two promising opening matches in the men's U18 age group – the first matches of the tournament's journey.
The first match was a confrontation between the Yen Hoa High School team and the Kim Lien High School team - two names that have affirmed their professional and dedicated playing style.
The second match was an equally exciting competition between the Chu Van An High School for the Gifted and Vinschool The Harmony, one of the schools with a strong tradition in school sports.
