Held every two years, the Lai Chau Province Mobile Propaganda Festival aims to evaluate the results of propaganda activities and grassroots propagandists; to train and improve the capacity and skills of propagandists, creating changes in propaganda activities in each locality. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for propagandists in localities to exchange, learn, share experiences, and find effective propaganda methods, contributing to bringing the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws into life.
The 10th Lai Chau Province Mobile Propaganda Festival in 2024 with the theme "Eliminate bad customs, build a new lifestyle; take the beauty, eliminate the ugliness" attracted the participation of 8 contestants, which are Mobile Propaganda teams from 8 districts and cities in the province. The festival consists of 3 competitions: Photo exhibition display and explanation competition; Mobile information vehicle decoration competition and comprehensive propaganda program competition.
Immediately after the Opening Ceremony, the competition of the comprehensive propaganda program of the first 3 competing teams: Lai Chau City, Than Uyen District and Phong Tho District. In this competition, each participating team will perform a propaganda program including genres of singing - dancing - music - skits and oral propaganda on a certain topic. The competition of the remaining teams will take place on the evening of July 6, 2024, also at this stage.
The photo exhibition display and explanation contests; and the mobile information vehicle decoration contest will take place in the morning and afternoon of July 6, 2024 at the Provincial People's Square. The closing ceremony, performance, and award ceremony of the Festival are scheduled to take place on the morning of July 7, 2024 at the outdoor stage of San Thang market, Lai Chau city.
