Conference scene.
The conference approved the report on the results of the activities of the Children's Council in the fiscal year FY24, and shared the results of information collection in 2025. Accordingly, the District Children's Council was established in May 2022, including activities to collect information on the implementation of children's rights from the perspective of children. Since its establishment, the District Children's Council has organized 6 meetings of the District Children's Council and 2 dialogues with the Standing Committee of the District People's Council. Through the dialogues with the Standing Committee of the District People's Council, children were able to express their thoughts, aspirations, and opinions related to children's issues in the district and were promptly answered by the doctors, and fully informed about policies related to children.

In 2025, members of the District Children's Council will continue to meet and express their wishes and opinions to the Standing Committee of the District People's Council and People's Committee at the Conference on Contact and Dialogue. Information will be collected in the form of direct interviews through a children's opinion poll on the implementation of children's rights in 2025, with technical support from Plan International, with an average of 40 votes/member on 3 topics: Early marriage; electronic cigarettes; traffic safety.
At the Conference, members of the Council raised questions for dialogue on issues such as: Policies to support experiential activities, develop students' skills at schools and support students in disadvantaged areas; safety issues for people and vehicles when participating in traffic; currently there are still cases of trucks carrying materials overloaded, speeding and occupying lanes, trucks carrying sand, gravel, rocks or spilling them on the road; measures to enhanceeducation in cases where students are not old enough to be given vehicles by their families to go to school, participate in traffic without wearing helmets and have behaviors of weaving, speeding and overtaking. Issues about clean water sources, safe living environment for children...
Comrade Vuong Thi Thu Hien - Chairwoman of the District People's Council spoke and had a dialogue with the District Council.
At the same time, propose solutions to coordinate the organization of mock trials at schools to help students better understand the importance of respecting the law as well as the legal consequences of traffic safety violations.
Based on the opinions raised by children, the Standing Committee of the People's Council and the district's specialized departments have satisfactorily responded to opinions, recommendations, and proposed solutions appropriate to the children's legitimate rights and interests and the actual conditions and situation of the locality.
On this occasion, the District People's Council presented gifts to the District Children's Council.
