With the determination to achieve high results in the exam, right from the beginning of the school year, schools have built scientific review plans, divided into stages. The focus is on differentiating students according to their level to have appropriate teaching methods. Teachers focus on consolidating basic knowledge, classifying questions according to difficulty, practicing test-taking skills and practicing questions close to the sample exam questions of the Ministry of Education and Training .
At Nam Nhun High School, the school with the largest number of 12th grade students in the district with 116 students, of which 100% of students registered for the exam, the exam preparation work has been strictly implemented since the beginning of the year. Teacher Bui Sy Tiep - Vice Principal of Nam Nhun High School, Nam Nhun District said: "We always determine that the high school graduation exam is not only the task of the students but also the responsibility of the whole school. Right from the beginning of the school year, the Board of Directors has assigned specific teachers in charge of each subject, selecting a team with capacity and experience. The school pays special attention to weak and poor students, both tutoring in class and organizing evening and weekend classes so that they do not fall behind. Our goal is that all students have the capacity to enter the exam with the best mindset."
Not only Nam Nhun High School, the District Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities also actively implemented review sessions for 127 12th grade students. Of which, 120 students chose the Social Science group, only 7 students chose the Natural Science group, reflecting a clear orientation, close to the students' abilities and aspirations. The school has assigned teachers with flexible and dedicated teaching methods, helping students absorb knowledge quickly and effectively. With the exam only a few weeks away, schools have entered the "sprint" stage, accelerating review sessions. During this time, teachers have stepped up practice tests, increased testing and assessment to help students get used to the pressure of the exam room. In particular, schools have also identified students at risk of failing the graduation exam to organize additional review sessions, closely tutoring, focusing on basic and core content.
The exam preparation atmosphere is urgent and serious at Nam Nhun District High School.
Lo Thi Luong Lan, a 12B grade student at the District Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities, expressed her determination: “The upcoming exam is an opportunity for me to prove my abilities. Although I still have many worries, I believe that the support of my teachers and friends will help me become more confident. I aim to pass the entrance exam to the Tay Bac Pedagogical University so that I can return to my hometown to teach and contribute to the development of my village.”
Not only focusing on the exam review content, the preparation of facilities, logistics, and ensuring exam safety are also given special attention. Nam Nhun High School has carefully checked the electricity, water, and fire prevention systems; arranged separate dormitories for students living far away; prepared review rooms and common living areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Along with that, Nam Nhun district has established a Steering Committee for the 2025 high school graduation exam, assigning specific tasks to relevant units. The district police have developed a plan to ensure security and order at exam sites. The Economic - Infrastructure Department has inspected roads and bridges at risk of landslides to ensure smooth traffic. The district health center has developed a plan to ensure food safety and health for exam invigilators and candidates. Electricity, telecommunications, and the youth union have also joined in, ready to respond to any arising situations. In particular, schools and local authorities have proactively reviewed and supported students in difficult circumstances so that no one is left behind. From accommodation, transportation to study materials, everything has been carefully prepared.
