This morning, June 10, the Provincial Journalists Association in coordination with the Center for Journalism Training, Vietnam Journalists Association organized the opening of a journalism training course for nearly 70 trainees who are editors, reporters, and collaborators from press agencies, affiliated journalist associations, newsletters, and agencies and units in the province.
The training course took place over 4 days (from June 10-13), focusing on 2 main topics, including: "Application of artificial intelligence (AI) in multimedia journalism" and "Skills in distributing content on digital platforms".
The topic on artificial intelligence applications was presented by journalist and producer Ngo Tran Thinh, Head of Multimedia Content Department, News Center, Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV). Trainees will be introduced and guided on how to use modern AI tools to improve operational efficiency and create press content.
The second topic on digital content distribution skills was instructed by journalist Dang Van Sinh, editor of the Political and Social Department, Thanh Nien Newspaper. The content focused on essential skills to effectively distribute news and articles on websites, social networks, emails and mobile applications.
This is also an opportunity for students to exchange experiences, share good practices and find solutions to difficulties and problems in the working process, in order to improve knowledge and skills for members, reporters and collaborators, helping to effectively apply them to professional work and create higher quality journalistic works in the current context of digital transformation.
