This is a meaningful activity, contributing practically to implementing the major orientations of the high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and States on people-to-people exchange, friendly cooperation and preserving common historical values.
The exhibition introduces 112 documents, archives, and images selected from the archives of the State Records and Archives Department of Vietnam, the State Archives General Department of China, news agencies of the two countries, and relevant agencies... These are evidences and authentic information reflecting the milestones, cooperation journeys, and important achievements in the cooperative relationship between the two countries since the official establishment of diplomatic relations.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Cao Huy praised the staff of the State Records and Archives Department of Vietnam and the State Archives of China for their active coordination in collecting, selecting, editing and organizing the introduction of a rich and valuable system of documents at the exhibition. "You are the ones who silently preserve the national memory, protect and promote the value of precious documentary heritages," Deputy Minister Cao Huy affirmed.

In his opening speech, Mr. Dang Thanh Tung, Director of the State Records and Archives Department of Vietnam, emphasized that Vietnam and China are two close neighbors with many similarities in history, culture and political regime. The traditional friendship established by President Ho Chi Minh and Chairman Mao Zedong and previous generations of leaders has always been a precious common asset of the people of the two countries. Through each historical period - from the struggle for independence, building the country to the process of innovation, reform and integration - the people of the two countries have always given each other sincere support and sharing.

In the context of the Vietnam - China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership developing stably and healthily, the organization of this exhibition is even more meaningful. The archival documents - authentic evidence of history - show the richness, depth and specificity of the cooperation process between the two countries. Thereby, telling authentic stories from documents, reviving historical memories, and at the same time fostering social foundation and people's sentiment - factors that the senior leaders of the two Parties and the two States have especially emphasized in the cooperation orientation in the coming time.

Sharing at the opening ceremony, Mr. Lam Chan Nghia, Deputy Director General of the State Archives of China, said that the images and documents displayed at this exhibition record important events in the cooperative relationship between the two countries, recalling historical memories, helping the public have an overview of the years of solidarity and glorious struggle of the two countries; as well as contributing to fostering and strengthening bilateral relations, being the driving force for the two sides to walk together in the new era.
