We hope that the displayed images will contribute to spreading national pride, patriotic traditions, and raising the sense of responsibility of all social classes in the cause of protecting national security and social order. From there, continue to promote the movement "All people protect national security" in the new era, the era of strong development of the Vietnamese nation".

The thematic exhibition consists of two parts. Part I is entitled “People are the light that guides the way”. After the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam , the predecessor organizations of the People's Public Security were established one after another to protect the organization, the revolution and the ideal of national independence. After the success of the August Revolution in 1945, the first People's Public Security organizations in the three regions were established, with the task of suppressing counter-revolutionaries, ensuring security and order, protecting the Party, protecting the revolutionary government and the people. On February 21, 1946, President Ho Chi Minh issued a decree to unify the People's Public Security forces throughout the country into the Vietnam Public Security Service.
As President, Uncle Ho paid special attention to building, educating and training the People's Public Security force. His six teachings on "The Qualities of a Revolutionary Public Security Officer" have become the guiding principle for all actions of the People's Public Security force. He directly spoke many times at conferences and classes of the Public Security sector; visited, encouraged, praised and cheered on units and soldiers to overcome difficulties and challenges, successfully complete the task of protecting national security and maintaining a peaceful life for the people.

Part II is entitled "Deserving the title of "Sharp sword, solid steel shield". Over 80 years of building, fighting and growing, generations of cadres and soldiers of the People's Public Security force have constantly strived, cultivated and trained the "Qualities of a revolutionary Public Security Officer" according to Uncle Ho's Six Teachings, building a glorious heroic tradition, worthy of being a sharp "Sword", a solid "Steel shield" protecting the Party, the State, the people and the socialist regime.

The noble qualities of revolutionary police officers are continuously honed in their daily work, regardless of wartime or peacetime. That is the source of strength that helps the Vietnam People's Police achieve many feats and outstanding achievements; making especially important contributions to the cause of national liberation and reunification in the past as well as to the construction and protection of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam today.

The thematic exhibition "People's Public Security - 80 years of remembering Uncle Ho's words" contributes to educating the tradition of patriotism, national pride, raising the sense of responsibility, promoting the mass movement of all social classes, especially today's young generation, in the cause of protecting national security.
The thematic exhibition is open to visitors from today (August 15, 2025) until October 15, 2025.
