- On the evening of July 25, at Dong Kinh Cinema, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lang Son province held the opening ceremony of the Film Week commemorating the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

Attending the opening ceremony were   leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province, departments, branches, armed forces and a large number of people in the province.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism delivered opening remarks at the film week.

At the opening ceremony, delegates watched two documentary films entitled "Commemorating War Invalids and Martyrs Day July 27" and "Legend Writers". The two films recreated moving images of the silent sacrifices of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids, martyrs and youth volunteers in the resistance wars for national independence and reunification; images of Truong Son cadres and soldiers in the resistance war against the US to save the country - people who overcame countless hardships and sacrifices to create the legendary road connecting the rear with the front line. Thereby honoring the spirit of patriotism, courage and selfless dedication for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Delegates attended the opening ceremony and attentively watched the film.

The film week is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day.
