Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Tong Thanh Hai - Permanent Vice Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee said that preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic groups associated with tourism development is a key program of the province in the 2020 - 2025 term, with the goal of welcoming over 2 million visitors by 2030. Recognizing the potentials and advantages of the province, in recent times Lai Chau has focused on leading, directing drastically, synchronously, focusing on investment, attracting investment and putting into operation a number of quality tourism products to meet the needs of the high-end market segment, notably: Dragon Cloud Glass Bridge Tourist Area, O Quy Ho Heaven Gate Tourist Area, Pusamcap - the cave area known as "The first cave in the Northwest"; building a paragliding adventure tourist destination "Flying on the roof of Indochina" associated with experiencing the culture of the Dao ethnic group in Si Thau Chai village; ASEAN community tourism - Sin Suoi Ho and tourism products to conquer the peak; visit the relics, scenic spots that captivate people's hearts, the National Treasure "Bia Co Hoai Lai" - where King Le Loi wrote poetry on the cliff of Pu Huoi Cho; admire the silk strip in the middle of the forest - Nam Luc Waterfall on the Sin Ho plateau.
