Discover the super special Cup of the 2024/25 National Football Super Cup

After nearly three decades, the National Football Super Cup has built a reputation as the pinnacle match between the two best teams, and also plays the role of opening the new season of Vietnamese football.

National Football Super Cup 2024/25 - THACO Cup is the match between Nam Dinh Steel Blue Football Club, the champion of LPBank V.League 1-2024/25, and Hanoi Police Football Club, the winner of the 2024/25 National Cup, held on Saturday, August 9 at Thien Truong Stadium, Nam Dinh Ward, Ninh Binh Province.

The top stars, the fiery attacking style of play, and the vibrant atmosphere of Thien Truong all promise to contribute to creating an attractive, emotional, and memorable National Super Cup. In addition, the match also has a special meaning to celebrate the country's important events: the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), and the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025).

From that spirit, a special Super Cup version was born with a completely new creation, designed specifically for the National Football Super Cup. The Cup is 72cm high, 50cm wide and weighs 3.5kg, made of silver-plated copper and completely handcrafted by artisans of King Gold Company.

Inspired by the Dong Son bronze drum and the Lac bird, the Cup recreates the quintessence of Vietnamese culture in a modern visual language, symbolizing national pride, the desire to conquer and the belief in victory in the new era. In addition, the new version of the Super Cup also represents the desire to innovate, rise up, and affirm the position of Vietnamese football in the hearts of fans and on the international football map.

In addition to the new version of the Cup, this year's commemorative medals were also designed by the Organizing Committee in a synchronous, sophisticated and luxurious manner to honor outstanding groups and individuals who have made many contributions to the development of Vietnamese football.
