Noi Binh Da Communal House (Temple) in Binh Da village, Binh Minh commune, Thanh Oai district is the first destination of the journey. Before entering, visitors are explained about the history of the communal house, the treasures and cultural values, and the traditions that the communal house still preserves.
Noi Binh Da Communal House worships the National Ancestor Lac Long Quan, associated with the legend of the founding of the country, 50 children followed mother Au Co to the mountains, 50 children followed father Lac Long Quan to the sea. The Communal House was recognized by the State as a National Monument for the first time in 1985 and was recognized as a National Historical and Cultural Monument in 1991.
The relic site is about 30,000 square meters wide, preserving many valuable antiques, notably a relief statue of the National Ancestor Lac Long Quan (pictured) wearing a flat-top hat and a royal robe, along with Lac Viet's Lac Hau and Lac Generals attending a boat race on the Do Dong River. The relief was recognized as a National Treasure by the Prime Minister in 2015.
