Ziplining, off-road driving, whitewater rafting,… many experiences create an exciting adventure to explore nature in Khanh Hoa.
Hon Ba Mountain in Cam Lam District has long been an attractive destination for those who love to experience wild nature and seek moments of relaxation. The beauty of Hon Ba is proof that Khanh Hoa not only has beautiful sandy beaches and poetic bays, but also majestic mountains and forests that create conditions for unique experiences.
Kong Forest is an adventure park located at Km19 Suoi Nguon Tourist Area, Suoi Cat Commune, Cam Lam District, Khanh Hoa Province. Located halfway up Hon Ba Mountain - a mountain with an altitude of 1,578m above sea level, the air here is very fresh and cool. Visitors can explore nature with the largest and only Zipline Canopy system in Vietnam to date, drive off-road vehicles in the forest, go rafting, go hiking, camping, and swimming at Suoi Nguon. With all these experiences, Kong Forest is considered the most attractive adventure complex in Southeast Asia.

Kong Forest is located in a prime location for designing nature exploration games.

Rafting – white water rafting.
ATV – off-road vehicle.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Nguyet, representative of Kong Forest, shared: “In Khanh Hoa, there are many tours to exploit the sea and islands, but there is no potential for sports and relaxation games in the forest. Therefore, we built Kong Forest Adventure Park, both to develop tourism in the province and to create a unique mark for Nha Trang tourism. If in the past, those who love thrilling games in nature had to go to Bali (Indonesia), Phunket (Thailand), or Langkawi (Malaysia), now they can come to Vietnam.”
When sliding on the cable car, visitors feel like they are flying in the sky through the canopy of the forest, fully admiring the beauty of Hon Ba and enjoying the freshness of the tropical forest. In particular, with the goal of developing sustainable tourism, the entire zipline system is installed on the tree but not a single nail is driven into the tree trunk. Even every 6 months, foreign experts come to evaluate and extend the anchor rope for the tree to grow.

Tourists enjoy ziplining.
Use only ropes and no nails to make a zipline system.
An interesting working environment with respectful behavior towards nature, and being trained by foreign experts to be able to operate ziplines all over the world, is also the motivation for the tour guide team to stick with their job even though they have to work far from the city.
“Working with nature makes me feel very comfortable. In particular, I am very happy when many tourists from all over the world come here and share that they really like this place because of the preserved primeval forest. Tourists will also have experiences that surpass their own limits to become braver and love life more.” – Mr. Tran Thanh Phi, head of the tour guide team shared.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of Khanh Hoa Province Department of Tourism, Kong Forest has a unique product that is both sports tourism and mountain and forest ecotourism, contributing to diversifying tourism products of Khanh Hoa province. At the same time, it supports the step-by-step development towards green and sustainable tourism.
Many games are designed to add challenge and excitement to the zipline.
As a tourism activity that depends on nature, there are also many difficulties and hardships for those working in tourism here. Although it is only more than 30km from the center of Nha Trang city, it is located on the mountainside and in the Hon Ba nature reserve, making the issue of personnel, transportation, and welcoming guests more expensive. Game equipment operating on mountain forest roads must be maintained and repaired continuously.
