General health check-up for 75 prisoners at the Provincial Police Detention Center

Staff of Cao Loc District Medical Center examine and provide health consultation to prisoners at the Prisoner Management Sub-camp, Provincial Police Detention Camp

– On May 25, the Provincial Police Detention Center coordinated with the Cao Loc District Medical Center to organize a general health check-up for 75 prisoners serving prison sentences at the Prisoner Management Sub-camp.

During the program, prisoners received general health check-ups such as: measuring height, weight, average chest circumference; ultrasound, electrocardiogram, blood pressure measurement, X-ray, blood test; discussion, answering questions about the causes of some common diseases or advice on how to prevent and control tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis B, COVID-19, etc.

The above activities demonstrate the humanity and humane policies of the Party and State, helping prisoners ensure their health during their sentence and after being released from prison, they can reintegrate into the community and find jobs suitable to their qualifications and health, limit recidivism and violations of the law, and contribute to ensuring security and order in the area.
