Khanh Hoa spends 112 million VND to find tourist gift products

On the morning of July 22, Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism informed about the 2nd Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa tourism gift product design contest, taking place from July 19 to September 30, 2024.

In the first 6-month organization at the end of 2023, the Organizing Committee received 26 entries from 10 authors and groups of authors but could not select any works to award because "the quality of the works did not meet the requirements".

In the second contest, the total prize money increased many times compared to the first time. Specifically, the Organizing Committee will award 1 first prize worth 40 million VND; 1 second prize worth 32 million VND; 1 third prize worth 24 million VND; 2 consolation prizes, each worth 8 million VND.

According to Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, the contest aims to search for and select product models for Khanh Hoa province to use as gifts for domestic and international agencies, units and localities; promote artistic creativity and tourism gift products to contribute to enriching the image identity and local tourism brand,...

Entries must be completed products or 1:1 scale simulation models with similar design and color, convenient for production and fabrication.

The contest encourages product designs that use environmentally friendly and highly applicable materials for production, convenient for fabrication.

Note: Contest products must not violate Vietnamese customs and traditions, have completely new ideas, not be copied or duplicated with any products already available on the market, and must not violate intellectual property rights.
