The inauguration and commissioning of the police headquarters in Kieu Ky and Phu Dong communes has resolved difficulties regarding working, living, and studying spaces for commune police officers, fulfilling the expectations of all commune police officers and the local people.
This creates favorable conditions for officers and soldiers to effectively perform their duties in ensuring security and order in the area. The project demonstrates the attention, leadership, guidance, and support of the local Party committee and government towards the police force in general, and the policy of building a regular commune police force in particular.
The building's structure conforms to the standards of a model police station, with 3 floors and more than 10 offices and specialized rooms. The total floor area is 850 m2. In addition, there are auxiliary facilities such as a garage, gate, fence, and concrete yard… After 5 months of construction, the building has now been completed and put into use.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the police headquarters in Kieu Ky and Phu Dong communes, Colonel Pham Thanh Hung emphasized: "To ensure that officers and soldiers have a place to work, live, and be on duty, contributing to the successful completion of assigned tasks, in recent times, the Party Committee of the Central Public Security, the Ministry of Public Security has paid attention to leading and directing increased investment in the City Police, including in the field of basic construction."
The construction and handover of the Kiêu Kỵ and Phù Đổng commune police headquarters is a prime example of the leadership's attention, guidance, and support from Party committees and authorities at all levels for the police force in general, and the policy of building a regular commune police force in particular.
The Deputy Director of the Hanoi City Police also expressed his wish for Gia Lam district to expedite the investment and construction of working offices for the remaining communes and towns, so that the regular commune police force can be stable, work with peace of mind, and excellently fulfill their nhiệm vụ of protecting security and order, making an important contribution to the socio -economic development of the locality.

According to Colonel Pham Thanh Hung, these headquarters construction projects are being implemented in the spirit of Resolution 12-NQ/DUCA dated July 25, 2022, of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security Ministry on ensuring material facilities for commune and town police, which sets a target to complete the investment and construction of barracks housing for 100% of commune and town police nationwide by the end of 2023. By the end of 2025, 100% of commune police will have invested in and built headquarters for work and living to meet the requirements of their work.
According to Mr. Nguyen Viet Ha, Secretary of the Gia Lam District Party Committee, the working headquarters of the Kieu Ky and Phu Dong commune police stations are the first in Gia Lam district to have completed construction, been inspected, and handed over for use as part of the Gia Lam District People's Committee's project to improve the quality and effectiveness of regular commune police operations in the 2021-2025 period.
The project is being built on a spacious site within the district headquarters. The District Party Committee, the People's Committee, and the people of Gia Lam district believe that, after being put into operation, these practical projects will contribute to maintaining political security and social order in the area, and further develop Gia Lam district.

On behalf of the officers and soldiers of the Gia Lam District Police, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Van Hau, Head of the District Police, expressed gratitude for the attention of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Hanoi City Police, and the Party Committee and government of Gia Lam District. He affirmed that the new headquarters will enhance the professionalism and efficiency of the officers and soldiers, creating favorable conditions for them to perform their duties in ensuring and maintaining security and order in the area. He also pledged that upon receiving the new headquarters, the police officers and soldiers of Kieu Ky and Phu Dong communes will operate and maintain the assigned equipment well and successfully complete all assigned tasks.
