Attending the ceremony were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lang Son province Hoang Van Nghiem; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Tien Thieu; Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Doan Thi Hau.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Lang Son City People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Van Hanh said that, implementing the special emulation movement to achieve achievements to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee's tradition, Lang Son City has selected 3 projects to install welcome signs, namely: 15-6 Park project, project to renovate and upgrade Quang Lac Primary School to meet level 2 standards and project to renovate and embellish Phai Loan Lake campus.
Of which, 15-6 Park has a total investment of nearly 14.9 billion VND, covering an area of over 14,900 m2; the Phai Loan Lake renovation and beautification project has a total investment of more than 73.5 billion VND, covering an area of nearly 28,190 m2; the Quang Lac Primary School renovation and upgrading project has a total investment of nearly 8.8 billion VND.
These projects are important works with practical significance, contributing to creating landscape highlights for the urban appearance, improving the environment, serving as places for community activities, entertainment, meeting the needs of relaxation, physical exercise and sports after studying and working hours of the people as well as tourists from all over the world, contributing to improving the health and quality of life of the city's residents.
At the same time, strengthen facilities, ensure teaching and learning requirements of the school, bring Quang Lac Primary School to level 2 standards, contributing to bringing Quang Lac commune to meet advanced new rural criteria.
Placing signs on these structures is one of the practical and meaningful activities. In particular, the 15-6 Park named after the traditional day of the Provincial Party Committee is a message conveying historical documents about the traditional day to introduce and promote the birth of the Provincial Party Committee to all classes of people and tourists from all over the world.
