In the morning, the delegation of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism conducted a survey of the locations for the special art program to celebrate the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day at several locations: 7/5 Square; D1 Hill and the Martyrs Temple at Dien Bien Phu Battlefield... to assess and analyze the favorable and difficult conditions of each location.
After the survey, the delegation had a working session with the Provincial People's Committee. At the meeting, the delegates discussed the preparations for the special art program to celebrate the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day. Specifically, the framework script of the art program with the theme of the Soldier's Heart is expected to be performed at 3 locations: Dien Bien; Con Dao Cemetery, Ba Ria Vung Tau Province and Road 9 Cemetery, Quang Tri Province. In which, the Dien Bien location is the main location.
Delegates gave their opinions on the location of the bridge, duration, activities, content, and propaganda work, etc., with the hope of adding more images of Dien Bien’s development and integration to the program. Delegates also suggested and added more materials for the research team to include in the script.
On behalf of the delegation, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong thanked the contributions from Dien Bien province and acknowledged and accepted the research in organizing the program. Comrade Ta Quang Dong requested the province to provide more documents about the beautiful scenery and the content that Dien Bien wants to promote; compile statistics and provide a list of Dien Bien soldiers who can participate in the program so that the Organizing Committee can have gratitude activities; organize a candle lighting program at cemeteries; mobilize military forces, youth, actors, artists... to participate; promote propaganda about the program...
Based on the opinions of the Working Group, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned specific tasks to each unit: Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, Provincial Military Command... for coordination in implementation. In addition, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to soon issue a plan to organize the program so that the province has a basis for preparation...
