The Russian Ministry of Defense has just released a video recording the scene of Russian troops using Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) to fire at Ukrainian military targets located along the Dnipro River.

According to the video, Russian forces opened fire on MLRS after receiving radio guidance data about enemy targets. Images recorded from drones show Russian missiles accurately hitting the target.

The Russian Defense Ministry estimated that up to 20 Ukrainian servicemen were killed or injured in the attack and three vehicles were destroyed.

Along with air power, artillery has shown effective support and is the key to the success of Russia's military operation to prevent Ukraine's counterattack. Russia also focuses on ammunition production capacity, improving the service capacity of artillery.

Grad is a multiple rocket launcher system designed by Russian military scientists and put into service in the army in 1963. Grad weighs 13.7 tons, is 7.35 m long, 2.4 m wide and 3.09 m high. The crew consists of 6 people. The system can move at a speed of 75 km/h on flat terrain and has an operating range of up to 750 km.
