Groundbreaking ceremony of Lite-On Quang Ninh Factory worth 690 million USD in Amata Ha Long Industrial Park

Lite-On Quang Ninh factory is invested by Lite-on Technology Group, built on an area of ​​30 hectares, with a total investment of 690 million USD. The project has a scale of 2 factories and 1 office building.

Lite-On Quang Ninh factory specializes in manufacturing electronic components for computers, cameras, wireless network connection devices, power converters, electric vehicle chargers, car lights, plastic products, and many other electronic devices. The factory has a total capacity of nearly 124 million products/year. Phase 1 is expected to be completed in November 2025.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Cao Tuong Huy, Vice Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, highly appreciated the choice of Lite-on Technology Group when deciding to invest in the factory in Song Khoai Industrial Park in Quang Yen Coastal Economic Zone. This is the core area, the new growth engine of the Western route and of Quang Ninh province, determined to develop according to the "smart city" model with smart, modern industrial - service - urban - seaport zones, processing, manufacturing and high-tech industrial centers.

In order for the project to be completed and put into operation soon, the Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee requested the investor to focus resources to implement the project to ensure quality and progress as committed. At the same time, closely coordinate with the provincial authorities to strictly implement the provisions of the law on planning, land, investment, construction, environmental protection and other relevant legal provisions.

According to the roadmap, the project will enter phase 1 production with a capacity of over 64 million products/year in November 2025. In 2028, the investment and operation of phase 2 production will be completed, bringing the capacity to over 95 million products/year. By 2030, the Group will complete the entire project with a total capacity of nearly 124 million products/year.
