Construction of the Trade Union Shelter began

(CT) - As part of a series of activities in response to Workers' Month 2025, on May 7, the O Mon District Labor Federation held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a Trade Union Shelter for 3 union members with difficult housing circumstances: Ms. Tran Thi Ut Het, teacher at Thoi Long Secondary School; Ms. Ngo Thi Ut Nhi, teacher at Sen Hong Kindergarten; Mr. Huynh Trong Nghia, employee of the O Mon District Culture, Sports and Broadcasting Center.

Previously, the Thoi Lai District Labor Federation held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a Trade Union Shelter for 5 union members with difficult housing circumstances: Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Ngoi, teacher at Truong Thang Kindergarten; Ms. Nguyen Thi Bach, security guard at Truong Thang Primary School; Ms. Vo Kim Thuy, finance and accounting officer at Dong Thuan commune; Mr. Huynh Van Thu, Vice Chairman of the Thoi Lai Town Farmers' Association and Mr. Bui Van Thai, security guard at Truong Thanh 1 Secondary School.

Each Trade Union Shelter is supported by Can Tho City Labor Federation with 50 million VND from the Golden Heart Charity Social Fund Branch in Can Tho, the rest is contributed by family and relatives.
