Groundbreaking ceremony for construction of public housing for teachers.

The three-room public housing project, with a total cost of VND500 million, is sponsored by the Ho Chi Minh CityEducation Trade Union. The construction site is at the cluster of kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools in Tan Khai Hamlet, Tan Lap Commune, Tan Bien District. This is the furthest place (from the provincial center) with a cluster of schools.

Many teachers working here come from other provinces or from the province but far from home, including two female teachers (one from Chau Thanh district, one from Tan Chau town) who have to travel hundreds of kilometers every day to get to school.

Education Trade Union gives gifts to students and teachers in remote areas.

The project is being constructed under a designated bidding process and is expected to be completed in early July 2023.
