Dozens of dolphins appear in Nha Trang Bay

A pod of dozens of dolphins moving through Dung Island (Nha Trang City) on May 18 shows the positive quality of the local marine environment.

On the afternoon of May 18, Van PT (living in Nha Trang, a boat driver at Vietnam Underneath) was transporting passengers when he saw a group of dolphins swimming from Hon Dung ( Khanh Hoa ) towards Nha Trang city.

The clip attracted attention from local residents and diving enthusiasts.

Sharing with Tri Thuc - Znews on the morning of May 19, Mr. Quang Huy, a diving instructor of the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), representing Vietnam Underneath, said that this was the second time a pod of dolphins appeared in Nha Trang Bay after the Covid-19 pandemic.

"In 2022, a pod of dolphins swam close to the shore in Khanh Hoa. The migration on the afternoon of May 18 was a rare occasion after the pandemic when the coastal city witnessed this animal swimming across the bay," Huy said.

Sharing the above post, Nha Trang Bay Management Board said the appearance of the fish is a positive sign showing the magic of nature and a better living environment.

Previously, in 2022, Hon Gam beach (in Van Phong bay, Van Ninh district) also recorded a pod of dolphins swimming along a fishing boat.
