Specifically, the price of WTI crude oil was trading at 61.4 USD/barrel, down 0.07 USD/barrel, equivalent to a very strong decrease of - 0.13% compared to yesterday. Meanwhile, the price of light sweet Brent crude oil was trading at 64.6 USD/barrel, up 0.14 USD/barrel, equivalent to a very strong increase of 0.22%.

The unexpected developments in world crude oil prices today caused the average crude oil price in May to fluctuate compared to April 2025. Specifically, WTI oil decreased by 0.13% compared to the previous month, Brent oil increased by 0.22%. Compared to the same period last year, the price of crude oil of all types still decreased sharply by over 22%.

Domestic gasoline prices today
Today's domestic gasoline and oil prices, May 27, are listed according to the adjusted price at 3:00 p.m. on May 22 by the Ministry of Finance - Ministry of Industry and Trade. Accordingly, in this adjustment period, gasoline prices have decreased sharply, while oil prices have been adjusted to increase. Specifically:

- E5RON92 gasoline price decreased by 60 VND/liter, the highest retail price is 19,120 VND/liter.

- RON95-III gasoline price decreased by 60 VND/liter, the highest retail price is 19,530 VND/liter.

- Diesel 0.05S price increased by 180 VND/liter, retail price not higher than 17,400 VND/liter.

- Kerosene price increased by 90 VND/liter, maximum retail price is 17,310 VND/liter.

- The price of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil increased by 350 VND/kg, the highest retail price is 16,510.
