The highlight of the activity is its high interactivity and youth-friendly language, thereby helping to raise awareness and equip digital safety skills, while affirming that this is a national effort with the participation of many ministries, businesses and international organizations.
With the message Not Alone, the Digital Trust Alliance hopes to ignite confidence, raise awareness and equip skills for children, students and parents to overcome invisible dangers in the digital space together.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Not Alone Campaign, Major General Nguyen Xuan Minh, Director of the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (A05), gave alarming figures on the risks to children in cyberspace. From that reality, he said that protecting children in cyberspace is an urgent need, requiring the support of the whole society, implementing the Party and State's policies on child protection.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Cuong, representative of the Digital Trust Alliance, shared the reason for the campaign: “We have encountered cases where children were lured and manipulated by just a few random words online. What makes us feel troubled is the feeling that they have to face that fear – alone. Cybercriminals always want to isolate victims, causing them to lose connection with their parents and teachers. If we do not change the way we protect children, the silence and indifference of adults will make them continue to be alone in the digital world.”
Mr. Cuong emphasized: “Not Alone” is not only an anti-cybercrime campaign, but also a reminder of love, connection and responsibility of adults towards the young generation.
In addition to online communication activities, the “Not Alone” campaign will organize an Online Safety Festival at Hoan Kiem Lake Walking Street – Hanoi on October 18-19, 2025. The event is expected to attract 30,000 – 40,000 participants, including teenagers, parents, teachers, artists, businesses and international tourists.
At Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, the center of the Walking Street, the Organizing Committee will arrange many lively experiential spaces:
- The simulation area "Safe Internet World" recreates attack and fraud situations and provides instructions on prevention skills;
- Interactive technology zone (VR/AR) helps participants "directly" experience the risk of being lured and kidnapped online;
- Minigame – committed to a civilized and safe online community;
- Talkshow – Music Gala “Not Alone” with the participation of artists and students, connecting music and humanistic messages.
In addition, the campaign also deployed a series of training courses in more than 34 provinces and cities - from junior high school, high school to university and college levels - to raise awareness and self-protection skills for students.
This is a key activity to bring the message of the “Not Alone” Campaign closer to students, parents and teachers. Not only does it stop at providing knowledge, the program also focuses on building an open exchange space where students can share, have their questions answered, and directly practice coping skills in the online environment./.
