Ta Hua is flourishing.

Ta Hua commune currently has 504 households and 2,556 inhabitants from three ethnic groups: Thai, Mong, and Kho Mu, living together in 8 villages. The lives of the people in the commune mainly depend on agricultural and forestry production. Recognizing economic development as one of the key tasks, in recent years the commune's Party committee and government have actively encouraged people to diversify their crops and livestock, and apply scientific and technological advancements to production.

Taking advantage of single-crop land, the commune encourages households to plant short-term industrial crops and fruit trees in their gardens and on hillsides to increase their income. Currently, the commune has nearly 30 hectares of peanuts, 54 hectares of corn, 4 hectares of soybeans, 8 hectares of various vegetables, and nearly 98 hectares of fruit trees including mangoes, macadamia nuts intercropped with tea; late-season plums, three-flowered plums, and green-skinned pomelos.

The commune Party committee and government are stepping up propaganda and mobilization efforts to encourage people to participate in building new rural areas with the motto "The State and the People work together." In this, people donate land, contribute money and labor to build internal village roads and community centers; they proactively fund the construction of hygienic bathrooms and toilets. They also utilize state support funds to build inter-village and inter-commune roads; and repair irrigation works and canals to ensure a proper irrigation system for agricultural production.

At the same time, in coordination with mass organizations, the commune mobilized people to maintain general hygiene and properly handle daily household waste, avoiding environmental pollution. To date, Ta Hua commune has completed 19 out of 19 criteria for new rural development, with an average per capita income of 46.6 million VND/year, and the multidimensional poverty rate reduced to 12.69%.

The people of Ta Hua commune are actively cleaning up and protecting their living environment.

We visited Cap Na 2 village, and what impressed us were the lush green tea plantations stretching across the hillsides, the verdant rice fields, and the vibrant life. Concrete roads lined the villages, and many sturdy houses were being built. This clearly demonstrated the improving living standards of the villagers.

Not only in Cap Na 2 village, but also in many other villages such as Cap Na 1, Cap Na 3, Khi village, etc., people have made efforts to change their production methods, introducing high-economic-value crops for cultivation. At the same time, they have built effective economic models to create productivity, increase labor value, and raise income. This shows that developing the economy in the right direction, along with investment in infrastructure, transportation, and electricity, is key to helping the people of Ta Hua commune escape poverty.

Thanks to the efforts of the local Party committee and government, and the endeavors of the people, Ta Hua has been leveraging its potential and strengths to make breakthroughs and move forward. This is the driving force for the Party committee, government, and people of all ethnic groups in the commune to continue successfully implementing socio-economic development tasks and building a prosperous and happy life.
