Ta Hua's rise

Ta Hua commune currently has 504 households, 2,556 people with 3 ethnic groups Thai, Mong, Kho Mu living in 8 villages. The lives of people in the commune mainly depend on agricultural and forestry production. Identifying economic development as one of the key tasks, in recent years, the Party Committee and the commune government have actively encouraged people to change the structure of crops and livestock, and apply scientific and technical advances to production.

Taking advantage of the single-crop land area, the commune encourages households to grow short-term industrial crops and fruit trees in gardens and on hillsides to increase income. Currently, the commune has nearly 30 hectares of peanuts, 54 hectares of corn, 4 hectares of soybeans, 8 hectares of various vegetables and nearly 98 hectares of fruit trees including mango, macadamia mixed with tea; plum, Tam Hoa plum, green-skinned grapefruit.

The Party Committee and the communal government have stepped up propaganda and mobilized people to participate in building new rural areas with the motto "The State and the People work together". In particular, people donate land, money, and working days to build internal roads and communal houses; proactively fund the construction of hygienic bathrooms and toilets. Take advantage of State support funds to build inter-village and inter-commune roads; repair irrigation works and canals to ensure irrigation systems to serve agricultural production needs.

At the same time, coordinate with mass organizations to mobilize people to maintain public hygiene and handle daily household waste, avoiding polluting the surrounding environment. Up to now, Ta Hua commune has completed 19/19 new rural criteria, average income per capita reached 46.6 million VND/year, the multidimensional poverty rate decreased to 12.69%.

We visited Cap Na 2 village, and what impressed us were the green tea fields stretching out on the hillsides, the green rice fields full of life. The roads were concreted throughout the villages. Many solid houses were built every day. That clearly demonstrated that the lives of the villagers were improving day by day.

Not only in Cap Na 2 village, but also in many other villages such as Cap Na 1, Cap Na 3, and Khi village, people have made efforts to change their production methods and introduce high-value crops into cultivation. At the same time, they have built effective economic models to create productivity, labor value, and increase income. This shows that developing the economy in the right direction along with investing in infrastructure, transportation, and electricity grids is the key to helping people in Ta Hua commune escape poverty.

With the efforts of the local Party Committee, government and people, Ta Hua has been taking advantage of its potential strengths to make a breakthrough. This is the driving force for the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the commune to continue to successfully carry out the task of socio-economic development, building a prosperous and happy life.
