Kick-off of the 2025 National Artistic Gymnastics Youth and Age Group Championships

VHO - On the morning of August 15 in Ho Chi Minh City, the opening ceremony and competitions of the 2025 National Artistic Gymnastics Youth and Age Group Championships took place.

The tournament is organized by the Vietnam Sports Administration, the National Sports Training Center, the Vietnam Gymnastics Federation in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City University of Sports.

The tournament had the participation of nearly 150 athletes, 28 coaches from 9 units, competing in 32 events.

At the youth championship, athletes compete in individual, team, individual all-around, team all-around and team events.

While the age group championship has individual and group events (bare hands, rope, ring, ball, club, silk) in 4 age groups U8, U10, U12, U14.

The tournament is held to promote the development of artistic gymnastics movement in the country.

In addition to evaluating the quality of athlete training and supplementing the national team, the tournament also creates a playground for athletes from provinces and cities to exchange and satisfy their passion for artistic gymnastics.

This year's tournament will run until August 17.

At this tournament last year, also held in Ho Chi Minh City, the home athletes excellently won first place overall.
