On September 15, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Market Management ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) Nguyen Thanh Binh signed and issued an official dispatch requesting market management forces in provinces and centrally-run cities to review and verify signs of violations by organizations, individuals or business locations of fire prevention and fighting products and equipment such as fire extinguishers, smoke masks, and rope ladders.

The General Department of Market Management requires market management forces to immediately implement professional measures and reports, and strictly handle violations. During the inspection process, it is necessary to combine direct propaganda to organizations and individuals about the regulations on trading in fire prevention and fighting equipment and products.

According to research, in recent days, on social networking sites and e-commerce platforms, the keywords "escape ladder", "selling escape ladder in Hanoi ", "selling escape ladder in Ho Chi Minh City"... have been continuously searched. The selling price has increased very high. For example, the price of escape ladder products has increased from 340,000 VND to 550,000 - 820,000 VND/set.

However, many shops selling fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue equipment have announced that the fire escape ladder product is "out of stock". Currently, if customers want to buy this equipment, they have to wait from 5-7 days (not including delivery time).
