- On the afternoon of May 7, 2025, the provincial interdisciplinary inspection and supervision delegation led by Mr. Phan Lac Hoai Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, inspected the implementation of legal regulations on children at the provincial Social Protection Center. This activity is to implement the direction of the Ministry of Health and the Provincial People's Committee on strengthening child protection and preventing child abuse.
The provincial Social Protection Center is currently caring for and nurturing 165 subjects, of which 30 are children and people under 22 years old, including 7 disabled children. Over the past time, the center has always fully performed its functions and tasks in managing and caring for subjects in especially difficult circumstances, without support, and at the same time implementing social work activities in accordance with regulations.
Children at the center receive comprehensive care, ensuring basic needs such as eating, living, studying, playing, and adequate nutrition according to regulations. Children who are able to go to school are given the opportunity to study, are provided with books, school supplies, and participate in training and self-development activities. The center also organizes career counseling, career orientation suitable to their strengths, helping children have stable jobs in the future.
During the program, the delegation reviewed the records of child management; inspected the facilities for eating, living, studying and playing; evaluated the implementation of nutrition and health care regimes; the organization ofeducational activities, health care, living environment as well as educational activities and career orientation. The members of the inspection delegation also conducted dialogues and exchanges with officers, employees and children at the Center to grasp the reality.
Through the inspection, the delegation acknowledged the efforts and responsibility of the center in caring for and protecting children, creating a positive, safe and friendly living environment for children. At the same time, they received and synthesized the center's recommendations and proposals, coordinated with relevant agencies to consider and resolve them, and created the best conditions for children.
On this occasion, Ngoc Lan International General Clinic (Lang Son city) presented 100kg of rice worth 3 million VND to the subjects being cared for at the center.
It is known that on the morning of May 7, the delegation inspected the implementation of legal regulations on children at Vinh Son Charity Shelter (Trang Dinh district) . As planned, on May 8, the delegation Continue to inspect the implementation of legal regulations on children at facilities that carry out child care and nurturing activities in Huu Lung and Loc Binh districts.
