Gasoline price increased by nearly 100 VND/liter, oil price decreased simultaneously - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

From 3:00 p.m. today, May 29, gasoline prices increased slightly by nearly 100 VND/liter, while oil prices decreased by more than 200 VND/liter, kg.

Of which, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline increased by 74 VND/liter, not higher than 19,196 VND/liter. The price of RON95 gasoline increased by 33 VND/liter, not higher than 19,565 VND/liter.

Prices of all types of oil decreased simultaneously: Diesel oil decreased by 269 VND/liter, down to 17,136 VND/liter. Kerosene price decreased by 206 VND/liter, not higher than 17,108 VND/liter and fuel oil price decreased by 248 VND/kg, not higher than 16,264 VND/kg.

In this period, the regulatory agency continues not to set aside or use the gasoline price stabilization fund for all products.

According to the regulator, the world oil market this period (from May 22 to May 28, 2025) is affected by key factors such as: OPEC+ meeting to discuss increasing oil production in July; tensions in the Middle East; increased fuel demand in the US; updated information on US tax policies on goods from trading partners; ongoing military conflict between Russia and Ukraine...

The above factors have caused world oil prices to fluctuate up and down in recent days depending on the product.

The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on May 22 and the adjustment period on May 29 was: 75.632 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5 RON92 gasoline; 76.898 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (up 0.172 USD/barrel); 77.766 USD/barrel of kerosene (down 1.150 USD/barrel); 78.650 USD/barrel of diesel (down 1.498 USD/barrel); 430.884 USD/ton of fuel oil (down 8.592 USD/ton).

Previously, in the operating period on May 22, the price of E5 RON92 gasoline decreased by 58 VND/liter, not higher than 19,122 VND/liter. The price of RON95 gasoline decreased by 62 VND/liter, not higher than 19,532 VND/liter, the price of diesel increased by 177 VND/liter, not higher than 17,405 VND/liter. Meanwhile, the price of kerosene increased by 88 VND/liter, not higher than 17,314 VND/liter and the price of fuel oil increased by 352 VND/kg, not higher than 16,512 VND/kg.

Since the beginning of the year, domestic gasoline prices have undergone 22 adjustment sessions, including 9 sessions of decrease, 8 sessions of increase and 5 sessions of opposite direction.
