Border Guard summarizes 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05

(GLO)- On the afternoon of May 29, the Party Committee and Command of the Border Guard (BĐBP) held a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in both direct and online forms.

At Gia Lai province, Colonel Ro Mah Tuan - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard chaired the conference.

Over the past 10 years, the Provincial Border Guard Command Party Committee has seriously implemented Directive No. 05 in conjunction with Directive No. 87-CT/QUTW, Directive No. 788-CT/QUTW, Directive No. 855-CT/QUTW and Resolution No. 847-NQ/QUTW of the Central Military Commission on promoting the qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" in the new period.

The implementation process is carried out synchronously, regularly inspected and urged to promptly correct and overcome limitations; at the same time, commend and reward outstanding collectives and individuals. Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style has become an important criterion in assessing the quality of Party organizations, unions and cadres and Party members every year.

Many practical and effective models and movements have been deployed, creating a widespread impact throughout the force such as: "Border Guard joins hands to build new countryside", "Border Guard joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind", "100 Dong house", "Love rice jar", "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of Border Guard station", "Border Guard youth following in the footsteps of their fathers and brothers"... In particular, the movement "Border Guard joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" has attracted the active participation of cadres, soldiers and the masses.

On this occasion, the Provincial Border Guard Command awarded certificates of merit to 3 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing Directive No. 05 of the Politburo .
