On May 28, in Pleiku City, the Department of Industry and Trade coordinated with the Vietnam E-commerce Association in the Central Highlands and TikTok Shop to organize a training course on AI application in marketing and 2 livestream sessions on OCOP products and typical rural industrial products of the province, attracting a large number of business households, cooperatives, and enterprises to participate with more than 200 products.
The highlight of the program is 2 livestream sessions of agricultural products and typical products of the province taking place from 11:30 to 19:30 on the same day on the TikTok Shop platform. The atmosphere of the 2 livestream sessions was exciting under the guidance of famous content creators such as: BTV Ngoc Bamboo, Phuong Oanh Daily, Anh Bo Doai.
Mr. Tran Viet Anh - Owner of TikTok channel Anh Bo Doai - said: "When promoting and spreading Gia Lai agricultural products, I realized that the province has many products with regional characteristics that are not available everywhere. Therefore, "showing" what materials the products are made from and how they are produced will stimulate viewers to make a purchase decision. It is not simply selling a product, but telling a story about the land, about the people, about the journey from the garden to the table, so that when they choose to buy, they know that behind it is the sweat and dreams of many farmers".
Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Ngoc - Owner of TikTok channel BTV Ngoc Bamboo - said: "Before livestreaming Gia Lai products, I always spend time learning very carefully about the products that the brand provides, from quality standards, raw material areas to the stories behind each product. Thanks to that, during the livestream, the producer and I together tell stories that really touch the emotions of the viewers, so that they not only buy the products but also understand and love the value behind them."
The two livestream sessions attracted thousands of followers nationwide, with products introduced vividly and orders closed during the broadcast. Many manufacturers in Gia Lai recorded a significant increase in revenue, creating a positive effect and encouraging them to boldly participate in online sales.

Ms. Le Thi Lan - Director of Nalee Vietnam Joint Stock Company (Chu Pah district) expressed: "Participating in a 20-minute livestream session with dried jackfruit and dried banana products, we reached a large number of customers and closed more than 300 orders. The products delivered to customers must be of standard quality, ensure food hygiene and safety and meet customer needs. Gia Lai province's strength is agricultural products. Therefore, I pay great attention to promoting products on many platforms".
Excited about the success of the livestream, Ms. Tran Thi Diem Kieu - Deputy Director of Huy Vu Beef Jerky One Member Co., Ltd. (Dak Doa district) shared: "I have participated in livestreams with a number of famous content creators on the TikTok Shop platform. Being able to livestream with the companionship of Editor Ngoc Bamboo, I have accumulated more experience to be able to do better in the future."

Evaluating the effectiveness of the event series, Mr. Pham Van Binh - Director of the Department of Industry and Trade - said: In recent years, the Department has implemented many practical activities to support businesses and cooperatives in developing e-commerce, from building websites, organizing training courses to improve digital technology application skills such as AI application in marketing, live streaming to gradually helping businesses master digital tools.
Thanks to that, the province's e-commerce index in 2025 increased by 9 ranks, reaching 37th out of 63 provinces and cities; in which, the business-to-consumer (B2C) transaction index recorded significant growth.
“In particular, the livestream sessions of agricultural products and Gia Lai's typical products have spread strongly to consumers across the country, creating a "boost" for the consumption of OCOP products, typical rural industrial products, and typical products of the province.
This reality shows that applying technology to trade promotion not only helps manufacturers directly approach customers, cut down on intermediaries, and increase profits, but also contributes to forming digital sales habits in the business community and cooperatives. This is a practical step, both effectively solving the problem of consuming agricultural products on the spot and gradually expanding the sustainable consumption market," Mr. Binh emphasized.
