NOTES ON GRADE 6 ENROLLMENT

As usual, every year in each locality,educational institutions must create all conditions for preschool-age students to go to school. At the same time, 100% of 5-year-old children must be mobilized to go to school; 100% of 6-year-old children must be enrolled in grade 1.

For 6th grade admission: For junior high school admission, students must have completed the primary education program, students must have completed the illiteracy eradication program phase 2, and be of age to enter grade 6.

And also create all conditions to maintain, consolidate and improve the quality of universal preschool education for 5-year-old children, universal primary and secondary education in the province. Admission method is by examination, admission criteria are based on training and learning results at primary level.

Registration for admission is done online. In case you are not eligible to register online, you can register in person. The Department of Education and Training will provide specific instructions on registration for junior high schools in the area based on local conditions.

Admissions must be completed by July 28, 2025.

FRENCH LANGUAGE PROGRAM ADMISSION

For this program, it is currently only implemented in Da Lat city, at Le Quy Don Primary School and Tay Son Secondary - High School.

Accordingly, Le Quy Don Primary School is the only educational institution permitted by the Department of Education and Training and the Da Lat Department of Education and Training to enroll students in grade 1 of the French program. However, enrollment must ensure that it does not exceed the regulations on the number of students in each class and the number of classes must be appropriate to the school's capacity according to current regulations.

For 6th grade students in the French program, Tay Son Secondary and High School enrolls the following subjects: 5th grade students studying the French program at Le Quy Don Primary School in the 2024 - 2025 school year; students in Da Lat City who have completed primary school and are of the age for admission to grade 6 according to regulations, if they wish to study the French program, they must register directly at Tay Son Secondary and High School and follow the school's admission regulations.

ENROLLMENT FOR GRADE 6 AT ETHNIC MINORITY BOARDING SCHOOL

The subjects are ethnic minority students whose parents or guardians have been permanently residing for 36 consecutive months or more up to the date of application for admission in communes, wards, and towns in regions I, II, and III as prescribed.

Boarding Ethnic Minority High Schools are allowed to recruit no more than 10% of Kinh ethnic students out of the total annual enrollment quota, and Kinh ethnic students who themselves and their parents or guardians have been residing for 36 consecutive months or more up to the date of application for admission in communes and villages with special difficulties in Lam Dong province according to regulations.

For those admitted directly to grade 6 of the Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, students must be from a very small ethnic minority group; have won provincial or higher awards in culture, arts, and sports .

There are 3 groups of candidates who are awarded priority points in the total admission score calculated on a 10-point scale. Group 1 is awarded 2 points; Group 2 is awarded 1.5 points; Group 3 is awarded 1 point.

Accordingly, group 1 includes: Children of martyrs; children of war invalids with a working capacity loss of 81% or more; children of sick soldiers with a working capacity loss of 81% or more; children of people granted a Certificate of beneficiaries of policies for war invalids whose working capacity loss is 81% or more; children of resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals; children of revolutionary fighters before January 1, 1945; children of revolutionary fighters from January 1, 1945 to the August 1945 uprising.

Group 2 includes: Children of Armed Forces Heroes, Labor Heroes, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers; children of war invalids with less than 81% working capacity loss; children of sick soldiers with less than 81% working capacity loss; children of people granted a Certificate of beneficiaries of policies for war invalids whose working capacity loss is less than 81%.

Group 3 includes: People whose parents are ethnic minorities; ethnic minorities; students in areas with especially difficult socio-economic conditions.

Note that when considering priority, students living in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions, but there are no school facilities there, must go to another school (not in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions) according to the student streaming regulations of the Department of Education and Training to study, and will still receive 1 priority point. Students with many priority criteria will only enjoy the highest priority criteria. The student's certificate of preferential policies and direct admission must be submitted before the deadline for receiving documents to be accepted as a basis for considering priority.

In addition to the priority subjects, there are also subjects that are given bonus points when considering admission to grade 6 of the Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, namely: Junior high school students who have won provincial-level prizes organized by the Department of Education and Training or in coordination with departments and branches organized on a provincial scale for competitions organized at the national level such as competitions, exams, and competitions on culture, arts, sports; scientific and technical research competitions. Bonus points are added to the total admission score calculated on a 10-point scale. In which, the First Prize is added 1.5 points; the Second Prize is added 1 point; the Third Prize is added 0.5 points.

Enrollment areas include: Southern Lam Dong Province Inter-District Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities enrolls in Da Huoai district.

Lam Dong Province Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School enrolls students in Lac Duong district and Da Lat city.

ADMISSION TO GRADE 10 NON-SPECIALIZED

Candidates and conditions for admission must be students who are recognized as graduating from secondary school in general education program or continuing education program in Lam Dong province or have permanent residence in Lam Dong province before the deadline for admission registration.

Subjects admitted directly to high school include: Students graduating from junior high school at ethnic minority schools; students from very small ethnic groups; students with disabilities with a certificate of disability from the People's Committee of the commune (ward); junior high school students who have won national prizes organized by the Ministry of Education and Training or in coordination with ministries and ministerial-level agencies organized nationwide for competitions, exams, and competitions on culture, arts, and sports; scientific and technical research competitions; and junior high school students who have won prizes in international competitions selected by the Minister of Education and Training.

Admission scores will be calculated based on the training and learning results of grades 6, 7, 8, and 9 at secondary school level, specifically as follows:

- Good training results and Good learning results: 10 points.

- Good training results and Good learning results or Good training results and Good learning results: 9 points.

- Good training results and Good learning results: 8 points.

- Good training results and Good learning results or Good training results and Good learning results: 7 points.

- Good training results and Satisfactory learning results or Satisfactory training results and Good learning results: 6 points.

- Other cases: 5 points.

Admission score is the total score calculated based on training results, study results in 4 years of secondary school and bonus points for priority subjects or encouraged subjects (if any).

For students studying under the new school model, the admission score will be considered from high to low to meet the assigned quota. In case the final quota has many students with the same admission score, the priority order will be as follows: The average score of all subjects in the entire 9th grade school year is higher. The total average score of the entire 9th grade school year in Math and Literature is higher.

Parents and students should note: Students who have been admitted to grade 10 of a specialized high school or a high school for ethnic minorities will not be considered for admission to public high schools. The school will recruit students based on their wishes, with the following additional regulation: The standard score for the second wish must be at least 1 point higher than the standard score for the first wish and at most 2 points higher. Students who have been admitted to the first wish will not be considered for admission to the second wish.

Upon notification of admission, students must complete all application procedures before 5:00 p.m., July 18, 2025.

ENROLLMENT INTO GRADE 10 SPECIALIZED SCHOOLS

Admission area: Bao Loc Specialized High School enrolls students who have permanent residence or graduated from grade 9 at secondary schools in the districts: Di Linh, Bao Lam, Da Huoai and Bao Loc city.

Thang Long High School for the Gifted enrolls students who have permanent residence or graduated from grade 9 at secondary schools in the districts: Dam Rong, Duc Trong, Lam Ha, Don Duong, Lac Duong and Da Lat city.

For specialized classes in Geography, History, and French, Thang Long High School for the Gifted recruits students who have permanent residence or graduated from grade 9 in Lam Dong province.

To register for the entrance exam to a specialized high school, students must have good or better training and study results for the entire school year of junior high school classes.

Students can register for a maximum of 02 specialized subjects with different exam schedules.

ENROLLMENT FOR GRADE 10 AT ETHNIC MINORITY BOARDING SCHOOL

Lam Dong Province Ethnic Boarding Secondary and High School enrolls students in the districts of Lac Duong, Di Linh, Duc Trong, Lam Ha, Don Duong, Dam Rong and Da Lat city.

The Southern Lam Dong Inter-District Boarding Secondary and High School for Ethnic Minorities enrolls students in the districts of Da Huoai and Bao Lam.

The admission principles in order of target groups are as follows: Students are ethnic minorities with very few people; have won national and international awards in culture, arts, sports, science and technology.

Ethnic minority students have graduated from junior high school at district-level ethnic minority high schools.

In other cases: Based on the quota allocated to each district/city, the order of the target groups and the students' admission scores, the admission will be conducted from high to low to ensure the assigned quota. In case the last quota has many candidates with equal admission scores, the following priority order will be considered: The average score of all subjects for the entire 9th grade school year is higher. The total average score of the entire 9th grade school year in Math and Literature is higher.

Students who have been admitted to the Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities are not eligible for admission to other high schools.

ENROLLMENT INTO THE CENTER FOR SUPPORTING INCLUSIVE EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT IN LAM DONG PROVINCE

Admission objects: Children, students with signs of disability or signs of functional decline, students with disabilities (collectively referred to as children, students with disabilities).

Admission conditions and locations: Children and students with disabilities with permanent residence in Lam Dong province.

Parents submit applications directly to the Center or by post (based on actual conditions, the Center will specify in the enrollment plan).
