Central Highlands coffee prices fell for the fourth consecutive session, pepper also decreased slightly.

(GLO)- This morning, coffee and pepper prices in the Central Highlands continued to decline along with the general trend of the world. In particular, coffee prices decreased by 1,000-1,200 VND/kg, pepper also decreased by 500 VND/kg.

Specifically, coffee prices in Dak Lak , Dak Nong and Lam Dong are 117,500 VND/kg, in Gia Lai the price is 117,300 VND/kg.

Pepper price in Gia Lai today continued to decrease slightly, down 500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, currently the purchase price is 144,500 VND/kg.

Pepper prices in Ba Ria-Vung Tau tend to be stable and unchanged compared to yesterday's decrease. Currently, pepper purchasing price is at 145,000 VND/kg.

Similarly, pepper prices in Dak Lak and Binh Phuoc remained unchanged compared to yesterday, purchased at 145,000 VND/kg; in Dak Lak, it was purchased at 146,000 VND/kg, the highest in the country.

Pepper prices in Dak Nong have fluctuated sharply, down 2,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Currently, traders are purchasing pepper in this locality at 144,000 VND/kg - the lowest in the country.

Vietnam's pepper export market is stable and increased slightly compared to the previous trading session. Currently, the export price of Vietnamese black pepper is at 6,500 USD/ton for 500 g/l; 550 g/l is at 6,600 USD/ton and the price of white pepper is at 9,500 USD/ton.
