Accordingly, in the first 6 months of 2025, the whole district planted 33,272 hectares of various crops, reaching 88% of the plan and 99.3% over the same period. The total value of industrial and handicraft production reached over 160 billion VND, reaching 51.52% of the plan and 87.86% over the same period. Total retail sales of goods and consumer revenue reached 730.9 billion VND, reaching 52.3% of the plan and 104% over the same period. Total state budget revenue in the area is estimated to reach 19.7 billion VND by June 30, reaching 92% of the provincial estimate and 81% of the district People's Council estimate.
The fields of culture, education and training, information and communication, labor and employment are implemented according to the set plan. The political security situation and social order and safety are stable. Local defense and military work is deployed synchronously and closely according to the plan.
In the first 6 months of the year, the District People's Council has also well implemented the work contents and programs set out. The quality of supervision and inspection by the District People's Council, the Standing Committee of the District People's Council, and the District People's Council committees has been increasingly improved; the recommendations after supervision have been seriously received and implemented by the District People's Committee and agencies and localities.
At the meeting, delegates discussed and clarified the results achieved as well as the shortcomings and limitations in performing assigned tasks; on that basis, proposed and recommended relevant levels, sectors, agencies and units to take measures to complete the set economic , social, defense and security development targets.
After 2 days of urgent and serious work with a high sense of responsibility, the 24th session of the Ia Pa District People's Council, term V, completed the proposed content and program. At the session, the District People's Council passed 4 important resolutions including: Resolution on approving the settlement of local budget and district-level budget in 2024; Resolution on allocating the surplus of district-level budget in 2024; Resolution to abolish Resolution No. 13/2015/NQ-HDND dated December 28, 2015 of the District People's Council on approving the "Plan for developing industrial and agricultural extension work and forms of production organization in the period 2016-2020"; Resolution on the implementation of socio-economic development tasks in the first 6 months of the year and deploying tasks in the last 6 months of 2025. This is the legal basis for the District People's Committee to deploy tasks in the coming time.
