76 years ago, on April 4, 1949, following President Ho Chi Minh ’s Directive, the first journalism class was opened in this very place, marking the birth of the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School. Although it only lasted for 3 months, the small school in the middle of the war zone has become an indelible mark in the history of revolutionary journalism. This is where the first generation of journalists were trained - those who “held pens like guns”, wrote with ideals and served with their hearts.
