On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, more than 500 union members and workers in difficult circumstances were given gifts and support with a total value of over 250 million VND through practical programs such as: "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party", "Love Bus Trip", "Online Trade Union Tet Market"...

In addition, the Trade Union at all levels mobilized union members and workers to donate nearly 70 million VND to support the "Spring of Soldiers" program; mobilized 468 union members and workers to participate in voluntary blood donation. In particular, during the 2025 Workers' Month, the City Labor Federation selected and proposed the Provincial Labor Federation to support hundreds of union members and workers with serious illnesses and in difficult circumstances.
The work of developing union members and building trade union organizations continues to receive attention. In the first 6 months of the year, the City Labor Federation admitted 628 new union members, established 8 grassroots unions and grassroots trade unions, and received 3,217 union members transferred from industry unions. At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and agreeing on key tasks in the coming time. In particular, focusing on arranging and streamlining the organization of the Trade Union apparatus according to the direction of the Central and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The City Labor Federation will develop a project and plan to terminate the activities of grassroots Trade Unions in administrative agencies and public service units receiving 100% of their salaries from the State budget, and submit it to the Provincial Labor Federation for approval. At the same time, the transfer of grassroots Trade Unions that are not subject to dissolution to the Provincial Labor Federation for management will be carried out according to the roadmap, ensuring that the rights and concerns of union members and workers are not affected.
