Kim Son organizes the first voluntary blood donation festival in 2024

On May 8, the Kim Son District Voluntary Blood Donation Campaign Committee organized the first Voluntary Blood Donation Festival in 2024 with the message: Sharing blood - Giving hope.

The blood donation session attracted a large number of volunteers, including union members, youth, civil servants, public employees and workers from communes, towns, agencies, units, schools, enterprises, etc. in the district. Thanks to good preparation, the steps of health check-up, testing and blood collection were all carried out in accordance with the procedures and quickly.

As a result, Viet Duc Friendship Hospital received 619 units of blood. This precious blood source was promptly added to the hospital's blood reserve to serve the emergency and treatment needs of patients.

In recent years, voluntary blood donation has been one of the outstanding activities that Kim Son district has actively directed and implemented. Voluntary blood donation has become a beautiful feature, an annual activity of the locality, thereby expressing the affection and responsibility of each person towards the community.
