Báo Bình DươngBáo Bình Dương03/06/2025

With the foundations that Binh Duong government has built, the spirit of daring to think, knowing how to do, and the extensive business experience of many generations of entrepreneurs, Resolution 68 is expected to strongly promote the spirit of innovation, proactively seizing opportunities, and transforming into a sustainable development strategy that businesses are striving for.

The foundation of the spirit of daring to think and knowing how to do

Over the past 30 years, Binh Duong's economy has grown rapidly and sustainably. The province's economic structure has shifted towards modernity with many socio-economic indicators ranking first in the country. To achieve these results, in addition to the leadership and direction of the Central Government, the efforts of the Party Committee and authorities at all levels, it is impossible not to mention the important role and great contribution of the business community and entrepreneurs in the area. To date, the province has over 77,600 enterprises with a total registered capital of over VND 873,000 billion.

Regarding private economic development, Binh Duong has always creatively and effectively implemented support solutions and accompanied businesses. Binh Duong has built and implemented a good mechanism for dialogue and consultation with businesses to create an investment and business environment. At the same time, it creates conditions for businesses to develop in a favorable business environment, contributing to improving the province's competitiveness. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Minh Tri affirmed that Binh Duong always respects and appreciates the contributions of Vietnamese businesses and entrepreneurs in socio-economic development in recent times. Binh Duong hopes that the Binh Duong business community will continue to promote good traditions, strive harder, overcome difficulties and challenges, proactively seize opportunities, and develop sustainably. On the government side, Binh Duong always strives to support and accompany businesses and entrepreneurs on the path of development...

Mr. Pham Tan Cong, Chairman of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI): The business community is very excited about Resolution 68, it can be said that the spirit of the business community and enterprises has never been as high as it is now. VCCI is strongly implementing this work by issuing a code of ethics for businessmen and enterprises from 2023 and is ready to take on the task with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in developing and implementing this project, making business ethics and culture a new strength for Vietnamese businessmen and enterprises.

Starting his business in the early 90s, in just the first year of operation of the factory, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thai Binh Investment Joint Stock Company, realized that the added value per unit of finished product was not high, and the production process did not generate large profits. All those years of development were also the years he wondered how the world's major brands could overcome the initial stage and develop sustainably?

Talking to us, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuan shared that being exposed to international brands and participating in exhibitions, visiting their factories and research and development rooms created a turning point in thinking and orientation for the TBS leadership. Through that, the company's leadership saw the whole picture of the global fashion manufacturing industry and realized the direction to help Vietnamese people increase the value of their labor, which is to master the production chain and participate deeply in the global value chain. The Chairman of TBS believes that "If the world can do it, we can do it too". Vietnamese people have the ability to be masters in their own homeland.

Businessman Ly Ngoc Minh, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Minh Long Ceramics I Company, said: “I myself always learn from the best people in every field, but I learn very deeply to solve problems. I learn from everyday stories to solve “difficult problems” in the story of innovation. I have another way, which is that I do not study majors or specialties because studying systematically takes too much time and life does not allow it, so I take shortcuts.”

And to give advice to the next generation of businesses, he said: “After 50 years, I realized that if young people today want to do that story, remember one thing: we must understand the operating principle of the story we are aiming for. Nature is the best place to learn. Any path takes a long time, through many years of research, testing, and improvement to bring a complete product. This poses for the leader the problem of how to optimize time while still achieving the highest efficiency. For example, by applying high-temperature single-fire technology along with many other advanced, breakthrough technologies applied in production, Minh Long can save maximum costs and help products achieve the highest quality.”

Ready to go

According to Dr. Mai Huu Tin, Chairman of Binh Duong Business Federation, in order to create conditions for businesses to overcome difficulties and develop, it is necessary to maintain an open, transparent and transparent business environment. In addition, investing in infrastructure as well as quality human resources to be able to continue to attract and promote trade and investment... The business community also expressed their determination to overcome difficulties and challenges, promote the spirit of dynamism, creativity, daring to think, daring to do, proactively innovating, applying advanced science and technology, improving competitiveness, expanding the market, creating many quality products and services, meeting the increasing demands of the market, making important contributions to the socio-economic development of the province.

Representing the young business community, Mr. Huynh Tran Phi Long, Chairman of the Binh Duong Young Business Association, affirmed that they will continue to promote the spirit of creativity, dare to think, dare to do, and constantly learn to improve their competitiveness. With enthusiasm and responsibility, the business community is committed to actively contributing to the sustainable development of the province's economy, while spreading good values to the community. The association will not only be a place to connect but also a launching pad to help business people reach further, together building a strong, united and courageous business community.

Ms. Trinh Thi Hong Chau, Vice President of Binh Duong Electromechanical Association, said that although there have been many resolutions and action programs over the past two decades, it was only when Resolution 68 was issued that we felt a clear change in development thinking. “When reading Resolution 68, we are proud to be called by the right name, placed in the right position, recognized as the most important driving force of the national economy, and recognized by the country's leaders as soldiers on the economic front. However, what most businesses want is how all levels and sectors can bring Resolution 68 into life? Will breakthrough mechanisms and policies be implemented quickly to provide timely support to millions of businesses and business households to overcome current challenges? And all of that requires strong participation from policy enforcement agencies at all levels from the central to local levels. Because the biggest wish of the business community is to have an equal and transparent business environment,” Ms. Trinh Thi Hong Chau shared.
