(BD) - On the morning of April 25, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Huynh Thuy Van chaired a press conference on the 23rd Session (special session) of the 13th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026.
According to information at the press conference, the 23rd Session will take place on the morning of April 28 at the Provincial Convention Center (Quy Nhon City) and will be broadcast live on Binh Dinh Radio and Television Station.

At this session, the Provincial People's Council will consider and approve 12 submissions, 2 reports and 12 draft resolutions related to many important issues of the province.
Notably, at this session, two "historic" proposals and draft resolutions will be considered and approved, including: The policy of rearranging and reorganizing commune-level administrative units in the province and the policy of merging provincial-level administrative units.
In addition, this session will consider and approve the following reports and draft resolutions: Allocating provincial budget capital to participate in the Quy Nhon - Pleiku Expressway Construction Investment Project; adjusting and supplementing the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025; adjusting and supplementing the public investment plan for 2025; adjusting the budget estimate of the Provincial Ethnic Committee due to the implementation of the state apparatus organization arrangement in 2025; allocating public funds to implement the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in 2025 in the province; stipulating the level of funding to support the activities of the People's Inspectorate at the commune level in the province; supplementing the list of land plots for bidding to select investors to implement investment projects using land in the province; extending the time for arranging capital for project implementation for projects using local budget capital; and the policy of changing the purpose of forest use to other purposes.
The meeting also approved two reports including: a plan to use increased revenue and save provincial budget expenditures in 2024; a report on adjusting and supplementing the 2025 central budget capital plan of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction.
Speaking at the press conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Huynh Thuy Van requested press agencies to strengthen coordination, closely follow the programs, contents and resolutions of the session to propagate fully, accurately and promptly, helping voters and people in the province to follow, grasp and create the overall success of the session.
