Promote communication activities for the 2nd Crab Festival in 2025

At the meeting, delegates discussed frankly about the preparation of many contents in the series of activities. Including the exhibition space at the Hanoi Flag Tower (Ca Mau Cape Tourist Area). The festival is expected to take place from November 16-22, 2025 with the theme "Ca Mau Crab: Forest Scent - Sea Flavor".

Within the framework of the festival, there will be many activities: communication, promotion; display, trade exhibition; organization of a series of forums, conferences, seminars; cultural, sports , tourism activities; urban beautification, environmental sanitation, decoration of street lighting systems; ensuring food safety, security and order, traffic and fire prevention and fighting.

These activities aim to promote and enhance the Ca Mau crab brand; introduce culinary culture and OCOP products; connect and cooperate with domestic and foreign enterprises and investors to build a complete production value chain of the province's sea crab industry; at the same time promote research and application of technology in farming and processing to improve productivity and quality of crabs. Thereby, promoting the economic, cultural, tourism potential and sustainable development prospects of the province.

Mr. Duong Vu Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, spoke at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Hoang Quoc Viet, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Vietsoftpro Group Joint Stock Company emphasized: “Through the Crab Festival, it will create a ripple effect, expanding the market for Ca Mau crab, shrimp and many other specialties of the province. The Group is ready to accompany the province within the framework of the event. Hopefully, the Group will have a long-term association with Ca Mau, not only in the crab and shrimp industry but also in many other fields”.

Mr. Hoang Quoc Viet, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Vietsoftpro, shared his desire to accompany Ca Mau for a long time.

At the end of the working session, the Provincial People's Committee and Vietsoftpro Group Joint Stock Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation. Accordingly, the enterprise will fully fund the organization of activities in Hanoi, including: displaying and promoting shrimp, crab and OCOP products at the Hanoi Museum or suitable locations; participating in the Craft Village Festival or other events in Hanoi; organizing culinary activities, performing Southern cultural and artistic activities; conferences and seminars on production, trade, tourism, and investment in OCOP products; building a Shrimp and Crab cultural space in Ca Mau on a digital technology platform.
