At the ceremony, the delegates reviewed the tradition of the Khanh Hoa Youth Volunteer Force. On April 27, 1976, at 2-4 Square (Nha Trang City), thousands of Youth Volunteers volunteered to go to reclaim land, clear land, and expand the area to build new economic zones such as Dat Set, Dong Trang, Ben Khe, Cu Chi, Ninh Trang, etc., creating initial infrastructure to bring people to build new economies, produce food, and be self-sufficient. By 1977, the whole province had more than 6,000 Youth Volunteers going to build new economic zones of the province to help people reclaim land and develop production. Thanks to that, from 1976 to the first quarter of 1979, the whole province mobilized more than 12,200 families with more than 63,000 people, including more than 28,600 workers, to build new economic zones. The new land transformed into prosperous countryside, people were self-sufficient in food and became rich right in their new homeland. In addition, the Youth Volunteer Teams also actively participated in the movement to build public works, roads, irrigation works, etc.

The province currently has more than 6,000 former Youth Volunteers, of which Nha Trang City has more than 600 former Youth Volunteers. Currently, many cases are in especially difficult circumstances, with no place to rely on. Therefore, in recent times, many collectives, individuals, agencies, units, and enterprises in the province have paid much attention and helped former Youth Volunteers in difficult circumstances in many practical ways. From 2010 to now, former Youth Volunteers in Khanh Hoa have been awarded 141 savings books from the program "Imprints of Youth" worth 664.5 million VND and 9 gratitude houses. At the same time, the Working Committee of Former Women Youth Volunteers of Khanh Hoa and Nha Trang City has mobilized agencies, units, businessmen, and enterprises to support 40 savings books, with a total value of 118 million VND...

On this occasion, Khanh Hoa Province's Women Entrepreneurs Association; former Youth Volunteers of Team 3 - Team 303 Border, Ho Chi Minh City; District 12 Youth Volunteers Association, Ho Chi Minh City; Resident Press Association, representative office in Khanh Hoa; Cam Ranh City's former Youth Volunteers presented 20 gifts (each worth 700,000 VND to 1 million VND) to former Youth Volunteers in difficult circumstances.
