With 9 points, Dau Khuong Duy ranked first to win the Gold Medal (HCV). This player did not lose any game but had 7 wins and 4 draws in the games played. Meanwhile, player Duong Vu Anh won the Silver Medal (HCB) with a total of 8.5 points, which is a suitable result for this player.

In addition, the Vietnamese youth chess team also won a gold medal in blitz chess in the U10 women's group. The achievement belonged to player Tran Hoang Bao An after achieving a total of 9.5 points after 11 games. Bao An faced fierce competition from Divi Bijesh and Kiyanna Parihaar (India, both with 9 points), however, the young Vietnamese female player played calmly to achieve the final score of No. 1.

On the previous day of competition, in the rapid chess event (U14 men's group), player Nguyen Nam Kiet excellently won the gold medal, Dau Khuong Duy won the silver medal, Duong Vu Anh won the bronze medal. In addition, the Vietnamese young chess team also won a number of other medals: silver medal for Hoang Tan Vinh, bronze medal for Nguyen Xuan Phuong (U10 men's group), silver medal for Tong Thai Hoang An (U14 women's group), bronze medal for Nguyen Binh Vy (U18 women's group).

At the end of the tournament, the Vietnamese youth chess team performed excellently, winning 3 gold medals, 6 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals. Notably, Hanoi chess had 6 players in the Vietnamese youth chess team, including: Dau Khuong Duy, Nguyen Nam Kiet, Duong Vu Anh, Nguyen Bao Nam, Nguyen Binh Vy, and Nguyen Xuan Phuong. This confirms the right direction of investment for young chess players of Hanoi chess.

The 2025 World Youth Rapid and Blitz Chess Championship will take place on April 16 and 17 in Greece. The tournament will attract more than 430 players from 48 countries and territories around the world. The tournament is for players in the U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, and U18 age groups to compete in rapid and blitz chess. The Vietnam Youth Chess Team will participate in the tournament with 40 players.
