Lam Dong: Working on weekends to resolve land records for people

Immediately after the decision to establish the Lam Dong Provincial Land Registration Office was made, the authorities directed to urgently handle people's records, even on weekends and outside of office hours.

On July 14, the Lam Dong Provincial Land Registration Office (Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong Province) said that after being established by the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, the unit urgently coordinated with relevant agencies to complete legal aspects (appointing leadership positions, carving new seals...) to resolve people's records.

Accordingly, Lam Dong Provincial Land Registration Office has appointed and established 28 new Regional Land Registration Office Branches to handle people's records.

On the first day (July 14), the Land Registration Office branches in Duc Trong, Di Linh, Lam Ha, Da Lat... started operating, and a relatively large number of people came to register, submit, and receive documents.

Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Director of Lam Dong Province Land Registration Office, said that on the first day, Duc Trong Branch of Land Registration Office processed 150 sets of documents, Lam Ha Branch of Land Registration Office processed more than 100 sets of documents.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Lam Dong province said that it has requested specialized departments and affiliated units, especially the Lam Dong Provincial Land Registration Office and regional Land Registration Office branches to work all day on Saturday and Sunday, including after office hours, to appraise and approve documents to promptly return results to the people. For documents that have been processed late, there must be a written apology to the people.

Previously, SGGP Newspaper reported that the lack of seals in Lam Dong province caused a backlog in the processing of people's land records, affecting people's rights.
