Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi requested departments, branches and localities in the province to resolutely and promptly complete the construction and repair of houses for families whose houses were damaged by recent floods in the area ahead of schedule, according to the "Quang Trung Campaign" launched by the Prime Minister.
On the morning of December 1, Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi chaired an in-person and online meeting with departments, units, and localities on plans to build and repair houses for families in the area affected by recent natural disasters and floods.
The Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee emphasized that this was an extraordinary and very important meeting, focusing on the work of overcoming the consequences of floods. In particular, the thing that needs to be done immediately and urgently is to prioritize support, overcome and repair houses for affected people.
Comrade Ho Van Muoi requested communes and wards to urgently review the subjects whose houses were damaged, ensuring that the right people are supported. No later than 4 pm today, the departments and branches must unify and have accurate data to report to the Central Steering Committee.
At the same time, relevant localities and units must have a clear commitment, implement on schedule, take full legal responsibility for land and paperwork procedures to proceed immediately. Communes and wards grasp the wishes of the people and the province will consider supporting within its capacity.
The Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee emphasized that, during the implementation process, if any difficulties or problems arise, localities must report immediately. By all means, the repair of people's houses must be completed by December 20. For households whose houses have completely collapsed or been swept away, everyone must join in decisively and quickly, and by all means, the houses must be completed for the people before January 15, 2026.
All people must have housing according to the general policy and the "Quang Trung Campaign" launched by the Prime Minister . The communes and wards will coordinate with specialized departments to calculate housing based on the needs and suggestions of the people.

In recent times, Lam Dong has resolutely and synchronously deployed solutions to prevent and overcome the consequences of natural disasters with the view of giving the highest priority to people's lives and health, ensuring no one lacks shelter, no one is hungry or cold, no students lack classrooms; the remedial measures are carried out in a proactive, urgent, timely and effective manner.
According to statistics, the recent floods in Lam Dong province have affected more than 2,840 households. Of these, 749 houses were partially damaged and 76 houses collapsed and were swept away by floods. Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee agreed to support 120 million VND/house that was completely collapsed or swept away and support from 20 to 40 million VND/house that was damaged and needed to be repaired.
As reported by Nhan Dan Newspaper, on November 30, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 234/CD-TTg on launching and implementing the " Quang Trung Campaign " to rapidly rebuild and repair houses for families whose houses were damaged by recent natural disasters in the central provinces.
Telegram sent to the Secretaries of Provincial and Municipal Party Committees and Chairmen of the People's Committees of the following provinces and cities: Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong; Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, and Government agencies.
In which, to urgently rebuild and repair houses for families whose houses were damaged in the recent natural disasters, ensuring that all people have houses, worship their ancestors, and enjoy the spring to welcome the Lunar New Year and the new year 2026, the Prime Minister requested the Chairmen of the People's Committees of provinces and cities from Ha Tinh to Lam Dong, focusing on the provinces of Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai and Lam Dong to organize the development of specific plans, launch and immediately deploy the "Quang Trung Campaign" on December 1 to mobilize all forces, quickly rebuild and repair houses for families whose houses collapsed, washed away, or were damaged in the recent historic storms and floods in the central regions.
Mobilize the army, police, youth, women, veterans, agencies, organizations, businesses and the entire political system to support house repairs for families with severely damaged houses, to be completed no later than December 31; rebuild houses and resettle all families whose houses have collapsed, washed away no later than January 31, 2026.
