In the wards and communes in Da Lat area, landslides occurred at Prenn Pass, Mimosa Pass - National Highway 20, many landslides on traffic routes and flooding affected vehicles, crops, state and people's property. According to statistics, by 9:00 am this morning, in the province there were about 31 landslides and some roads were flooded, cut off, affecting traffic; 1 person was injured, 1 person was missing, 128 households were affected in terms of houses, property and about 662 hectares of crops and flowers were damaged.

In the wards and communes in Da Lat area, landslides occurred at Prenn Pass, Mimosa Pass - National Highway 20, many landslides on traffic routes and flooding affected vehicles, crops, state and people's property. According to statistics, by 9:00 am this morning, in the province there were about 31 landslides and some roads were flooded, cut off, affecting traffic; 1 person was injured, 1 person was missing, 128 households were affected in terms of houses and property and about 662 hectares of crops and flowers were damaged.

To proactively prevent, avoid and respond to heavy rains and floods, urgently ensure the safety of people's lives and minimize property damage; the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested units and localities to urgently carry out the following key and urgent tasks:
1. Continue to strictly implement the instructions of the Provincial People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 7391/UBND-NNMT dated November 19, 2025 on focusing on responding to and promptly overcoming the consequences of floods and storms in the province. During this time, the forces assigned to be on duty in flooded, incident and landslide areas in the province must be on duty 24/7, proactively grasp weather developments, promptly handle arising situations, and support people when necessary; at the same time, maintain a continuous reporting regime until the weather stabilizes and the Provincial People's Committee issues further instructions.
2. For wards and communes in the Da Lat area: The Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police, and Department of Construction, based on their assigned functions and tasks, shall preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, and localities to urgently organize a review of all areas at high risk of landslides, residential areas along hillsides and streams; arrange forces to support emergency evacuation when necessary, ensuring absolute safety of people and property; propose timely emergency remedial measures.
3. For communes, wards and Phu Quy special zone:
Continue to review and arrange forces and means to organize the evacuation and relocation of people from areas with high and deep floods, fast-flowing water, landslides, and ensure food, drinking water, and essential necessities in the areas where people are evacuated and relocated to, so that people do not go hungry, cold, or lack drinking water....
Increase forces to organize and guide traffic from afar to separate traffic flows, resolutely not allowing people and vehicles to enter areas with deep flooding, fast-flowing water, and landslides.
Continue to closely monitor warning bulletins, forecasts and developments of heavy rain, warning information on regulating hydropower reservoirs in the area where floods, inundations, flash floods, and landslides occur; provide timely and complete information to people to proactively prevent and avoid at the highest possible level.
Timely organize visits, encouragement, support, and sharing of difficulties and losses for families affected by natural disasters and floods.
4. The Department of Construction presides over and coordinates with relevant departments, branches, units and localities:
Check the scene, isolate dangerous areas, put up warning signs, and arrange 24/7 security forces;
Urgently mobilize construction units and machinery to temporarily handle landslides, not allowing prolonged congestion; Proactively develop plans to remotely regulate traffic for vehicles traveling through mountain passes;
Prepare a report assessing the risk of continued landslides and propose emergency measures to send to the Provincial People's Committee by November 20, 2025.
5. Provincial Military Command, Provincial Police:
Increase forces and means, by all means, to immediately reach flooded and isolated areas, especially in the communes of D'Ran, Ka Do, Quang Lap, Duc Trong, Hiep Thanh, Don Duong and wards in Da Lat area to support the relocation and evacuation of people to safe places, protect property, and ensure security and order.
Actively coordinate with localities, especially vulnerable areas, deep flooding, landslides to promptly support people.
6. The Department of Industry and Trade proactively directs the safe operation of hydroelectric reservoirs in the province to ensure flood reduction for downstream areas, and absolutely does not allow dam safety to occur.
7. The Department of Agriculture and Environment continues to organize on-duty shifts, closely monitor weather and natural disaster developments; advise the Provincial Civil Defense Command to synthesize the impact and damage caused by natural disasters in the province; report and propose to the Provincial People's Committee to direct the implementation of timely response and recovery plans and consider support according to regulations.
8. Lam Dong Newspaper, Radio, Television and other mass media in the province increase the time and promptly provide information on natural disasters and instructions from authorities so that people know.
9. Departments, branches and sectors, according to their functions and tasks, shall deploy emergency response work to heavy rain and floods, minimizing possible damage.
